Orange County - Coorg

Coorg Valley

Bordered by the legendary river Cauvery, and surrounded by virginal forests, Orange County, Coorg, is situated amidst a 300-acre working plantation. Nestled in the coffee and spice-scented hills of Coorg, the resort gives you a luxurious introduction to Plantation Life and a cultural glimpse into the charming Kodava race of this region. Take a guided tour of the working coffee and spice plantation which continues into the adjoining Dubare Reserve Forest, join the plantation workforce and try your hand at pruning or harvesting or go bird watching with one of our naturalists. Experience the ebb and flow of the river on a local fishing boat, a coracle, and experience the rhythms of local life in the neighbouring Karadigodu village.

The Villas have separate living rooms, spacious bedrooms with private courtyards, sit-out areas and private swimming pools. These suites offer a glimpse into the privileged life of the gentleman planter and are inspired by ethnic Kodava architecture.
