Its proven again. Leading research highlights that living besides a protected area is good for your health and your wealth – especially where nature tourism is involved.

Researchers analysed data from 603 protected areas in 34 developing countries and found that children who live near protected areas or allowed sustainable use of their lands by locals lived in wealthier and healthier households than those who live farther away from conservation zones.
