Svasara Jungle Lodge

Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve

Maharashtra

Set over ten acres of land near the Kolara tribal hamlet, Svasara is a Sanskrit word meaning nest, which is exactly what the lodge aims to offer - a place of security and belonging that exists in harmony with its natural surroundings. Comfortable modern and colourfully decorated rooms reflect this approach too. The property is today an ideal spot for birding and walking safaris in the region offering many sightings of the forest’s denizens and bird species, helped by its own tree nursery. The lodge’s Teakhouse is a pavilion made of recycled wood and other natural materials that houses an outdoor dining area, an open-air cinema, conservation centre and an outdoor barbeque pit.
